How To Use

A simple step-by-step guide to resizing your PAN card photo and signature using our free tool — from upload to portal-ready download in under 2 minutes.

Step-by-Step Guide

1

Choose Your Portal

Click the NSDL / Protean or UTI Infrastructure toggle at the top of the tool. This sets the correct pixel dimensions, DPI, and file-size limits for every image you process.

🔵 Portal toggle automatically updates all size targets
2

Select a Tool

Choose Resize Photo for your passport-size photo, Resize Signature for your signature, or Merge Aadhaar Card to create a combined PDF.

📋 Tool cards show the exact output spec for the selected portal
3

Upload Your Image

Click Upload & Crop (or drag & drop). A cropper opens in a modal overlay — the aspect ratio is automatically locked to the required dimensions.

🖼 Supported formats: JPEG, PNG, WEBP
4

Crop & Save

Drag the crop box to frame your face (or signature), then click ✔ Crop & Save. The image is instantly resized to the exact pixel dimensions.

✂ The crop box enforces the correct aspect ratio — no guesswork
5

Download

Click the green Download button. The tool checks the file size and compresses automatically if it exceeds the portal limit (30 KB / 50 KB / 60 KB depending on type & portal).

💾 File is named correctly (e.g. pan_photo_nsdl.jpeg)
6

Upload to Portal

Log in to the NSDL or UTI portal and upload the downloaded file. The image will meet all size, format, and dimension requirements.

✅ If the portal rejects the file, use the Reset button and try a tighter crop
